About

Hi, I’m Jen. I’m a fiber artist based in Monterey, California, originally from just outside Green Bay, Wisconsin. My path into making has always been rooted in material curiosity, shaped early on by growing up in a creative household where making and sharing ideas were part of everyday life.
After earning a degree in marketing and spending several years in the advertising world, I shifted my focus toward a more consistent studio practice in 2019. My work now centers on fiber-based pieces that move between control and spontaneity, often beginning with structure and opening up through experimentation.
Working across embroidery, weaving, knitting, sewing, and soft sculpture, I use repetition, pattern, and material play as entry points for exploration. Experimentation is central to my process, allowing techniques to shift, overlap, and evolve as the work develops.
